Japanese Class 2012 WINTER

Day/time: every WED.19:00-20:30 or THUR. 17:00-18:30

(Starting 2nd week of Jan. `3rd week of March.)

No Fee needed, but you may need to purchase a textbook, depending on your level.

The class will be multi-level group or individual studies with volunteers.

This year, we will take you to "saka-kura" and canoe/"yakata-fune" experience

in Yagi. Enjoy cultural exchange through outdoor activities.

Co-organized with Kyoto Prefectural International Center.

This cooking class will be a rare opportunity for you to experience German

cuisine and enjoy cultural exchange with local people at a German Cafe

gMitokiyah in a beautiful rural environment of Goma.

Traditional Papermaking trip & Japanese Tea on Aug.28,2010

Please join us in a short trip to Ayabe to experience traditional

papermaking and taste different kinds of tea on Saturday the 28th.

9:00 meet at Sonobe Station (west exit), drive to Ayabe

10:00-12:00 Papermaking at the traditional craft center

12:00-13:00 lunch

13:00-15:00 visit Kurotani village, drive back to Sonobe

16:00-18:00 Japanese Tea at the international center

Participation fee is 3000 yen (which includes 2000yen for

papermaking and 500yen for the tea, and 500yen for transportation)

Please bring your own lunch and drinks or there's a Shokudo nearby.
